Instructions:

Wash & Condition using Beard Shampoo

Beard shampoo is used much like regular shampoo: pour some into the palm of your hand and work it into a lather before massaging it into your beard and skin so it’s all nice and soapy. Then, rinse off the shampoo thoroughly with warm water and towel dry.

Hydrate it with the Beard Oil

Depending on where you are in your beard journey will play a huge factor on how you will care and maintain your beard.
In two sections I will discuss step by step how and when to apply your beard butter and beard oil for: 
Short/New beards  &   Full/Thicker beards

Short beards/New beards

  1. Beard oil is best applied after a warm or hot shower. The heat and steam from the shower will help open your pores and makes your skin and facial hair more receptive to the oil.

  2. Pat it dry. 

    Oil and water don't mix so after your shower, gently pat dry both your face and beard with a dry towel.

  3. Spray & brush 

    Spray and evenly distribute the oil across your beard area.  After applying your beard oil, gently brush the oil into your beard ensuring you reach the skin beneath using  beard brush.

Full/Thicker beards

For fuller and thicker beards follow the same process with the beard oil

  1. After warm or hot shower

  2. Pat beard dry

  3. Apply and brush in

Style it with the Beard Butter

  1. After applying your oil, use the butter

  2. Take a good amount of beard butter with your fingers and put it in the palm of you hands. Rub your hands together until it melts, then rub it in evenly into your beard.

  3. After you have applied your beard butter, you will comb it in with our comb. The reason you want to use a wide tooth sandal wood comb is because it gently massages the skin on your face. By massaging the skin on your face, you stimulate the hair follicles and increase blood flow to the area which promotes hair growth.

    Also, sandalwood combs soak up the natural oils on your face, beard hairs, as well as the beard oil and beard butter and redistributes it from the root all the way to the tip of your beard hairs. And last but not least, Wide tooth sandalwood beard combs have wide polished teeth that glides through the hair easily without snags and breakage.

Tips:

How often should this be done? 

Shampoo
If your beard is kept short and your skin isn’t all that oily, you might be fine washing 2-3 times a week, with a soaking of warm water only on days in between. If you do manual labour work or spend your days working outside, you might prefer to wash your beard every other day, with warm water washing on non-shampoo days. The idea is not to wash your beard too frequently so as to avoid stripping facial hair of its natural oils. That said, if your beard gets so dirty on a daily basis that shampoo is a must, go ahead and use it. 

Oil
The frequency in which you should apply your beard oil should at least be two to three times a day, especially if your just starting to grow your beard. Once in the morning before starting your day, once at night before going to bed and sometime between that. The beard brush and Beard oil is the greatest combination for men with shorter beards or men just starting to grow their beards.

Butter
Beard butter should be applied daily for styling and moisturizing purposes. It is important to note that it is not a replacement for your beard oil which keeps your skin from flaking and itching. The beard butter works together with the oil to lock in the benefits of the beard oil. It will give your beard a deep condition, keep it styled to perfection, and leave it smelling amazing!

 

To keep the shelf life longer:

  1. The products should be stored in a pantry, away from direct heat and sunlight. 

  2. When scooping the butter out of the container use clean and dry hands  / fingertips.

  3. Before using de shampoo shake it well.
